Pick one of our horses under Available Horses, send in a donation and you will be listed as a sponsor and receive special benefits. E-mail us for more information.
Adoption:
Horses available for adoption are also listed under our Petfinders link as well as our website.
Interested parties can make arrangements with us to meet for an initial interview. This process includes completion of the adoption contract, reference checks and payment of an adoption fee. Click onto adoption contract for further information.
Donation of horses to SJTR&A:
SJTR&A accepts Thoroughbred horses who are in need for our program for rehabilitation, training and when considered stable are placed into new, appropriate homes. We offer pick-up trailering service for horses needing immediate attention. We work closely with our veterinarian to offer the best in equine care. Horse owners who donate their horse to SJTR&A sign a contract transferring ownership to us. All of our horses that are placed in new adoptive situations are placed with a signed contract stating the horse must return to SJTR&A if at any point the new owner chooses to end the adoptive placement or if the party breaches any portion of the contract.
